New for 2019 is our Lochaber Wild Camping Experience. This is a 2-day photography experience with a wild camp overnight. Wild camping is just exactly that, camping in the wilds. On the downside there is no electricity, no toilets, no gift shops or free wi-fi. On the up-side however, there are waterfalls, mountains, glens and lochs and we can pitch our tents wherever the fancy takes us! This means that we are in prime position should there be a fabulous sunrise or sunset or when the local wildlife come out to play.
Day 1 is spent in the fabulous Glencoe area (see Glencoe Experience page). Aa our day comes to an end, we can decide where we would like to spend the night. Beside a waterfall, perhaps…?
Day 2 takes us north and west as we head across the Corran Ferry and take the beautiful winding B-road towards Glenfinnan. Outstanding views of Ben Nevis can be taken in as we make our way along the loch-side. Glenfinnan is an area of outstanding beauty and historical significance (I’ll tell you all about it when we get there). From Glenfinnan we head along the ‘Road to the Isles’ and get the sand between our toes on the stunning beach at Camusdarach with its unparalleled views of the islands of Eigg and Rum. A fantastic day out with a wide variety of photo locations on offer.
We will supply you with your own tent, sleeping bag, bedroll and crockery, etc. Get in touch if you would like more information.
