Getting to grips with your Camera or Smartphone
So many people can be totally overawed and confused when confronted with the vast array of buttons, dials and mystical icons on their camera. The instruction manual isn’t a lot of help either, especially when it is the thickness of a phone book! That’s why they often simply stick the camera on Programme or Auto Mode and hope for the best, or even worse, stick the camera in a cupboard and forget about it!
Here at Photo Walk Scotland, we are pleased to offer a beginners guide to digital photography which will help you to get to grips with the basic settings of your camera or Smartphone*, as well as learning some simple photographic rules to help you make fantastic images.
Areas covered in the workshop will include Shooting Modes, Shutter Speed, Aperture and ISO on your camera.
We will also be taking a close look at the basics of good photography, including Composition, Depth of Field, Leading Lines and the Rule of Thirds.
This Workshop lasts over 3 hrs and is limited to a maximum of 3 clients. This will ensure that each individual will get plenty of assistance, guidance and the opportunity to put what they have learned into practice. We also offer a Support Network via our Facebook Group and are always happy to respond to any email with your queries.
*if you are using your Smartphone, we will cover Editing and Post-Processing of Images
