Fantastic walking tour around Glasgow visiting some amazing pieces of street art. Tommy met us bang on time and after a quick run down on camera basics we set off. Tommy clearly knows his stuff and was able to give some great pointers along the way with lots of encouragement. Thoroughly recommend this tour and I’d have no hesitation in booking another one.

Not only is Tom an excellent teacher of photography, he makes you feel at ease instantly, is great company for the day and is a historian full of incredible information which sets this experience aside from any other tour I have been on. I will be going on one of Tommy’s tours again and recommend you book too!!

This is the second tour I have taken, and this time it was the night time session. Met Tommy and one fellow client promptly at GOMA and headed quickly over to Partick to go to the Transport Museum. The night was still which really helped with the photography.

This is the second time I've been out on a photo walk with Tommy, this time with a friend visiting from Canada. Another grand day - loads of good advice and top tips for great pictures, a real mix of locations - from picture postcard scenes to street art and abstracts and Tommy sharing some of Edinburgh history too. Great.

I have been on many tours while in Scotland and taken hundreds of pictures. This tour though was the best I have been on. Tom spoke about the locations in a photographers light. Vs just "take a picture of this". He gave me basic easy things to do with my camera.

OUTSTANDING! We did the half-day tours in both cities (on seperate days). They were both excellent. The street art tour in Glasgow was especially good. Lots of sunshine. Tom is a great guide. He is very knowledgeable of the history of the area, the artist, and the types of street art. We had a small group, so it was like a private tour with an old friend happened to be a local. Edinburgh was also excellent, with the emphasis on historical highlights. Tom provided photography tips on both tours.

Tommy took a group of 3 of us on a tour. Before setting out, he checked our cameras to ensure that he was familiar with them. Throughout the day, he offered tailored advice based on each individual camera. I was very impressed with his calm and very helpful nature!

My husband and I splurged and booked an all day tour with Tom in Glasgow. He was at the port waiting for us and off we went. He took us to many sights in Glencoe, most of which were off the touristy trails. We do not specialize in photography but did want to see the mountainous areas and have photo opportunities. Tom was a wealth of historical information that made everywhere we went memorable.

I highly recommend the tour as with the individual attention, you can be comfortable and learn to improve your photos if you are using a smartphone or more sophisticated camera equipment. As we drove from site to site, we talked about photo editing, composition, as well as local history. This was a day well spent on my trip and I highly recommend the tour to anyone looking to improve their photos or who wants to see another part of Scotland!

I really enjoyed my time with Tom from Photo Walk Scotland. He showed me some great places around the city, which I would not have discovered without him. He also gave some tips for taking good pictures. It was really worth it. So if you want an authentic tour through the city, get in touch with this super friendly man.

I just came off the most amazing week of photography instruction and touring with Tommy and Gordon at Photowalk Scotland. Rare to find award-winning photographers who are also expert teachers and walking encyclopedias about Scottish history! With a maximum ratio of 1 instructor to 3 clients, this week felt like a private photography workshop with all the benefits of fun, laughter, and photo tip trading with others in the group
